Two more exciting days in Denmark!

Two more exciting days in Denmark! Our students had the opportunity to visit a food sustainable centre Madsmedjen and learn how they produce and prepare food. They collected mushrooms, fruits from the forest, apples, herbs, etc and also made all preparations for cooking a meal! From chopping wood and making fire to cleaning the ingredients and cook the meal. And ... it was delicious!

Afterwards, we returned to Fjerritslev Gymnasium and continued their presentations.

The following day was dedicated to the second largest city of Denmark, Aarhus! We visited the famous and marvelous @moesgaardmuseum and investigated a "cold case" 2500 years old! It is the Grauballe Man! After solving the case, we visited Nogen restaurant and we were presented how they select the ingredients, they prepare the food and their effort for zero waste food. The food was delicious! Next, it was the ARoS Aarhus Museum with its stunning terrace. A short walk to the streets of Aarhus and return to school at the evening. What a lovely day!

Final day in Tomar

Final day in Tomar. Students presented their survey about the use of electronic and digital devices and it was interesting to see both similarities and differences between countries. An experiment had been carried out a few weeks ago and it was a "No Screen Day". Students saw the results and answers of that experiment. Meanwhile, teachers had their own meeting about the evaluation and the preperation of the next mobility to Denmark!

Most of teams left Tomar on that day. We all had a lovely week full of activities. We would like to thank the principal Celeste and other colleagues, Marta, Luis, Isabelle, Paolo, Pedro and many others for their help and cooperation. Last, we would like to thank the families for the hospitality and for taking care our students. Till we meet again...

Ubuntu workshop in Tomar

The following day we had the Ubuntu workshop! This workshop was about empowering coexistency and cooperation. We had some lovely activities and we had the chance to get to better know each other.

After lunch we visited Castello de Tomar and the fabulous Templar Temple. Really impressive the temple, the Archbishop's dining room and the architecture. The Portoguese students were our guides providing us with useful information and the story.

Later, that day, we went back to school where students and their parents prepared lot of local dishes and deserts and we had a dinner all together! Traditional dances, music and bands played music and we had a lot of fun! Lastly, we received our certificates!

Merry Christmas!
