Final day in Tomar

Final day in Tomar. Students presented their survey about the use of electronic and digital devices and it was interesting to see both similarities and differences between countries. An experiment had been carried out a few weeks ago and it was a "No Screen Day". Students saw the results and answers of that experiment. Meanwhile, teachers had their own meeting about the evaluation and the preperation of the next mobility to Denmark!

Most of teams left Tomar on that day. We all had a lovely week full of activities. We would like to thank the principal Celeste and other colleagues, Marta, Luis, Isabelle, Paolo, Pedro and many others for their help and cooperation. Last, we would like to thank the families for the hospitality and for taking care our students. Till we meet again...

Presentations and cultural trips

Busy day this one! We started with presentations of each partner's school and country. Then, our students presented how technology helps the environment in their region/city.

Next stop, was the famous Sanctuary of Fatima! Our students learned about the history and the story of this sanctuary. After that we had lunch. We tasted lots of local dishes and we loved the food!

Then we had the chance to see the Atlantic ocean at Nazare! It was a unique experience as most of the students had never seen the Atlantic ocean before! Although the weather wasn't suitable for swimming, we had the chance to go to the beach and play with the waves! Nazare's waves are famous and the largest wave height ever recorded in history, was here!

After this long day, our students went to their families and all teachers went for dinner in a very nice and atmospheric restaurant next to City's Town Hall.

Next mobility to Portugal!

Next mobility to Portugal! Our colleagues from Tomar welcomed us in Lisbon! He had a fabulous time with the hippotrip bus that took us both in Tagos river but also in the streets of Lisbon. We had the opportunity to see and learn about Belem Castle, the Explorer's Monument (Padrão dos Descobrimentos), the MAAT museum, the Jeronymo Monastery and explore various city districts.

The tour ended at Lisbon Aquarium, one of the largest in Europe! We had lunch all together and afterwards we travelled to Tomar. Our students met the hosting families and went to their houses to settle in. The teachers had the opportunity to gather, have dinner and discuss about the tasks and the schedule of the following day!

Merry Christmas!
