Last day of the mobility to our Romanian partner "High School Johannes Honterus - Colegiul Național Johannes Honterus Brașov".

The day started with a visit to the famous Black Church in Brasov. We learned about its long history, the restorations, the customs and many more. After that we walked in the streets of Brasov. A group visited the Citadel with the magnificent view of the area.

Then, we had the honour to visit the Brasov Town Hall and have a discussion with the Mayor and his team about the actions the city of Brasov is undertaking towards to a more sustainable future. We were also informed about their intention to apply for being the next EU Green city.

Then, we had the last lunch all together as the Greek team had to leave afterwards. Some tears from the students and a promise to meet again. All teams were extremely happy and thankful to our Romanian partner fow all the work and preparations that made this experience a unique one.

Forth day of the mobility to our Romanian partner "High School Johannes Honterus - Colegiul Național Johannes Honterus Brașov". A workshop about marketing was held at school. An expert has been invited and explained the main aspects of a successful advertisement. Then all teams had an assignment. To create an advertisement and present it. Interesting ideas from our students!

Meanwhile the group of the teachers gathered together to discuss and evaluate the project and set the next steps!

After lunch we had a relaxing afternoon eith lots of music and dancing! The Romanian students presented tradition dances and music from their country. Moreover, all teams had the opportunity to present also their dances and music!

Third day of the mobility to our Romanian partner. It is the excursion day.

 

Third day of the mobility to our Romanian partner "High School Johannes Honterus - Colegiul Național Johannes Honterus Brașov". It is the excursion day. We first visited the fortified church at Harman. It is one if the many fortified churches in Transylvania region.

Then, we visited the famous Bran Castle, known also as the Dracula Castle. We had the opportunity to learn about its history of it and of the region.

Next stop was Rasnov where we had a traditional lunch and the we went to the ski resort at Poiana. We didn't had the chance to ski as there wasn't enough snow.

Last stop was in Brasov where our students had the chance to spend some time walking around the city with their friends.

Second day of the mobility to our Romanian partner. It is the presentations' day!

 

Second day of the mobility to our Romanian partner "High School Johannes Honterus - Colegiul Național Johannes Honterus Brașov". It is the presentations' day. Students had prepared presentations of the environmental impact of a commonly used product and another one about the life cycle of local product.

After that, students had a workshop about labelling (defining and recognising the labels on products). They created a small presentation of their work and presented it to the rest of the teams.

Following the lunch we had the opportunity to use the cable car to lift to the mountain and have a fabulous view of the city of Brasov.

First day of the mobility to our Romanian partner "High School Johannes Honterus - Colegiul Național Johannes Honterus Brașov". The Headmaster Mr Radu Chivarean and Mrs Anca Paul welcomed all visiting schools. We exchanged gifts from all participating countries and we had a chance to meet colleagues from the school and learn about its long history.

The teams presented their country, their city and their school to the rest teams and we had a chance to learn about the different cultures. The students participated in a game about the culture of Romania.

Afterwards, we visited classes and we saw the facilities of the school. We had a city rally and learned about the history of the city, its buildings, its architecture, the Black Church, the Town Hall, the Orthodox Church and many more!

We had a lovely lunch in a nearby restaurant. The students returned to their classes and they followed the schedule with their hosting families. The teachers met later and had a lovely dinner at Restaurant Sergiana AFI Brasov !
